"M-m-m-momma?" The weakened voice of the little boy could be heard coming from the bed, and Giselle was startled awake by his tiny voice.
"Hey there, how are you feeling?" The relief of seeing him awake washed over Giselle. She beamed brightly at his cherub face peeking at her from under the blanket. She could see his cheeks were still flushed pink from the fever. But overall, he looked better than when they first brought him to his room.
"I-I'm Hungry!" he exclaimed.
Giselle giggled at his request for food. "When are you not? Give me a few minutes and I will tell Chadwick to bring you something."
"W-w-w-waffles, and H-honey, ppp-please." He stammered at his mother.
"Of course, young master," Giselle stood and bowed with a chuckle at his request. "Right away."
