The tiny white chapel was set back in the middle of the oak grove. It was almost a mythical-looking place among the ancient trees. This site was sacred to Kane, and when he first became the Earl of Northbrook, this was where he placed the sanctuary.
While they walked to where Kane worshipped his creator, he wrapped his arm around Giselle. Since she was a night demon, he was worried about what might happen if she entered the holy chapel.
