Rain drizzled lightly as Sierra and Jackson strolled to Thorn Mansion. He gently squeezed her hand and slowed his pace. Jackson leaned in close, wanting to be sure he heard her correctly.

"I did. As he made his way out of the gates, The Duke was astride a stunning Andalusian. There is no doubt in my mind as to who I saw traveling down the road."

Jackson noticed Sierra wrapping her free arm around herself in an attempt to stay warm in the rainy, frigid night air.
