Lady Fiona cast her second spell, "Amalgate." The mirror miraculously mended. Tiny little sparks crackled and swirled across the fractured pieces, sealing them closed.
Within moments, it was done, and the mirror was whole again. Christopher surveyed the reflective surface of the mirror, and it was perfect. He tried to find any flaws and was astounded to see none.
The Lord stood to the side and glimpsed something odd from his peripheral view. It was a vision of Rose. She was reflected in the looking glass.
The Lord whipped his head around to see if she was in the room. He ran to the bathroom door and peered out. Rose was still silently sleeping in the bed, twisting the ring on her finger.
"You saw it too?" Fiona questioned, looking up at Christopher's startled reflection in the mirror staring back at her.
