Light streamed through the sycamore trees in the distance as the sun shone over the horizon. Christopher returned to the mansion and entered the conservatory. He saw the robe and blanket on the loveseat that Rose had worn. He picked it up and inhaled the collar; Rose's scent was still on it.
"Hahaha...! I wonder if she intends to drive me slowly insane.? If so, she is succeeding." Christopher muttered with a smirk.
He leaned back in the chair, remembering Rose softly caressing his back. His mind was replaying the tryst that had ensued on the loveseat.
"I can't take this!" he said to himself.
