"Yes, Milord," said Giselle. She stood to leave, and Kane caught her hand.
"Christopher, whatever you have to say, you can say it in front of my wife. We hold no secrets from each other. Giselle won't tell Dante. She is never returning there again unless I'm with her. So, it is okay to speak in front of us." Kane looked up at his precious wife, who smiled and ruffled his blond curls with her fingers.
"It's not that at all. It is personal," said Lord Thorn.

Jackson stood up and offered Giselle his arm. "May I, Milord?" he asked Kane. "I would like to show her the foals at our stables. With your permission, of course,"
