"That is not the sole reason I saved Ambrose," Rose continued.
"I heard tell that this was the first time a child had survived long enough to be born to you. Seeing such a valiant and earnest person denied his precious child was heart-wrenching to me. All Haydon wants is a family. It was something I never had the opportunity to experience, so I gave it to someone else. That is why I granted Ambrose a piece of my soul. The look on Sir Haydon's face says more than words ever could express," explained Rose.
"Your husband will be the best father a little boy could ever have. I wish you all much happiness. Thank you for asking me to be Ambrose's godparent. He will always hold a special place, right here, inside my heart," Rose placed her hand over her chest, thinking about the piece of her spirit Ambrose possessed, bringing solace to her mind.
Rose had done what was right with no regrets.
