Li Xia smiled widely after watching him walk away. She was now getting tired from all this. She placed the empty glass on the table and took another one.
As she was taking her glass of champagne she heard some noise from behind her.
Turning her head she realized it was her Mei Lin with her two minions venting their frustration on one of the waitresses. The waitress seemed to have spilled some wine on her dress. Li Xia turned around and walked towards Mei Lin where the scene was happening.
"You ruined my dress," Mei Lin growled as she was glaring at the waitress.
"I am sorry, please forgive me, '' she apologized.
"You cheap waitress!" Mei Lin tried to slap the waitress but was stopped by someone. Mei Lin tilted her face to see the person who was stopping her.
"Mei Lin, I think you better not make a scene here. You shouldn't take things too far," Li Xia said, pushing her hand lightly. And told the waitress to leave them and do her work.
"No one told you to interfere, "Mei Lin shouted. She pointed an accusing finger at Li Xia
"I am not even interested, I just did it for your good, '' Li Xia replied and pushed Mei Lin's finger gently away.
"Li Xia you are nothing but a mere blogger in front of me," Mei Lin hissed.
"That was a bit rude," Li Xia told her and took a sip from the champagne glass in her hand.
Mei Lin had enough of her philosophy. She pushed Li Xia with her elbow. She was slightly taken aback and stumbled backward and bumped into someone's chest and spilled some champagne on that person.
Li Xia cursed inwardly as she turned around to look at the person who she bumped into.
"Luo Yuan?" she repeated his name in her mind. Trying to believe the person who was standing in front of her none other than Luo Yuan, her classmate, and the most popular guy in her high school. And the person whom she had a crush on for 8 years. The person who rejected her 8 years ago.
Her heart was beating rapidly. She could feel her blood rushing towards her cheeks. She couldn't forget his mesmerizing beauty. His beautiful brown eyes. His tall, perfect figure. His soft lips. Everything about him was ethereal, and she always felt powerless against his charm.
"Li Xia stays calm, just apologize and leave," Li Xia thought in her mind as she took a step back.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to ruin your suit," Li Xia tried to clean his suit with the tissue paper that was still in her hand. She dabbed at his suit carefully trying to remove some champagne stain but unfortunately failed.
Then she felt his hands grab her wrist stopping her actions and gently pushed her aside making his way towards the bathroom. Li Xia hid her face in her palms, her face was burning with embarrassment.
"Li Xia you are such a mess," she muttered to herself while standing there.

Li Xia was standing in front of the male restroom while tapping her foot impatiently. She was waiting for Luo Yuan so that she could properly apologize for her mistake.
She waited there for five minutes and he still hasn't come out. She was now feeling embarrassed for standing in front of the male restroom as everyone was staring at her.
It took another five minutes for Luo Yuan to come out of the restroom. He tried to clean it but, in vain.
"I am sorry for ruining your suit," Li Xia replied as she looked at him. But instead of replying, he started to walk past her.
"Hey wait!" She nabbed his arm and caused him to stop and turn around.
"It's a bit too much," she continued. "I admit that I ruined your suit but I'm sorry," she said sincerely. Luo Yuan looked at her with furrowed eyebrows and asked," Then what?"
"Let me pay for the damage that I caused to your suit," she took her phone in front of him so that he could scan her WeChat ID.
"You can't afford to pay for the damage,'' he answered bluntly, ignoring her offer and walking past her.
She stood there dumbfounded by his arrogant attitude. She clenched her fist tightly as anger rose within her. "How dare he act like that? Who does he think he is?" she thought in her mind. She calmed herself, spruced up her back, and put on her best smile before walking towards the main hall.
As soon as she entered the hall she noticed everyone gazing toward the stage. It looked like the event was starting. She felt relief in her mind. Because right now she wants to go home. She was so tired and exhausted from all the scenes that she had witnessed tonight. From meeting Mei Lin to meeting Luo Yuan. All those memories kept replaying in her mind.
Her mind was snapped when she saw Mr. Fang walking up the stage and standing behind the podium. Everyone was quiet and focused on him. He cleared his throat before speaking.
"Thank you for coming to our event tonight," he said while scanning everyone. His voice sounded pleasant. Many of the audience clapped their hands and cheered.
"You all must be wondering about the reason behind conducting this Event. He continued."I would like to announce that we are collaborating with Miss Mei for our new collection."
Everyone applauded when Mei Lin stepped forward. She was wearing a light pink gown with small beads patterned on the hem. She walked toward the dais with her usual proud smile plastered on her face. She cleared her voice before speaking.
