What Scarlett heard from her father, her mother looked unusual before she got into the car accident that took her life.
"A few days before the accident, my Mom had given my dad specific and special instructions for looking after me. And the same day she got into a car accident, my dad realized something. Mom had destroyed all traces of her in the house; no photos, personal belongings, documents related to her, none! As if they were burned with her in the car…."
