She continued, "If I had stayed in Spartia I would have had to marry someone else, so running away was the only way we had found to be together, and beleive me, I have never regretted my choice, not even for a second."
Cassy smiled, and Carol told her, "Even if you weren't The Divine Mage, I would have offered you to stay with our family, as I've already told you my husband can protect you while your powers develop, but of course it's up to you Cassy, you don't have to stay with us if you don't want to."
Cassy finally let go of her wrist and even without that System she would have trusted her and Paige, her instinct was never wrong and she felt comfortable with them, so she motioned for Carol to sit next to them and she confessed to her, "I need you to keep a very open mind because even I didn't know that it was possible."
