I noticed how Christine and Elena were getting along quite impressively. I got a feeling that every time they giggled like school girls, I was the topic of their discussion.
It was a surprise for me given the fact that Elena had a misunderstanding that I was having an affair with Christine. Even that thought made me chuckle in amusement.
How women jump to such conclusions so easily was beyond my understanding.
But judging by their closeness, I assumed that Christine must have cleared Elena's doubts and misunderstandings.
I would have liked to tease Elena and see her getting red in jealousy, but our relationship was still in a budding stage, and I was not ready for any gust of wind to ruin it.
The dinner was fun, to be honest. Though I barely participated in the ladies' conversation, it was quite entertaining to see Elena smile ear to ear- something she had forgotten to do since I exposed her dad's corruption case.
