The man driving a black car disconnected the call after receiving clear orders from his boss. He hadn't expected Ortiz to end the matter. He thought he would want to catch the driver of the silver car and extract all the information that he could with Dan's help.
Guess Ortiz was indeed concerned for Devon Sanders and Elena Bell's wedding and didn't want to risk anything.
Either way, the man wearing a black tailored jacket was going to follow the orders without questioning his boss. He wasn't paid for probing his boss anyways.
His face was set in a hard mould as he hit the accelerator to increase the speed of the car. But the driver in the silver car was not someone naive. He too increased his speed, despite the constraints the old model offered.
