Joanna jumped out of her skin at the sight of Mason's dangerously handsome face smirking down at her, with his hand extended in her way.
Her panicked eyes instantly ran to seek help from the only place where she could get it. But watching Elena and Devon kissing each other like they had lost the sense of the world around them, she realised her hope was doomed to die.
Sensing the uncertainty and a desperate need for an escape on her round face, Mason was amused. He had no intention of sharing this dance with her. Not when there were many gorgeous women out there waiting for his one glance.
But this little thing managed to grab not only his attention in their very first encounter but the fact that she was Elena's best friend made his interest piqued even more.
And the reactions he got from her for everything he said or did just added more fun to it.
