It took a string of calls from Christine and Joanna to let go of Elena. We were currently in the shower, making out under the hot water while I tried to drink all the curses and complaints from my dear wife as her body ached at places that she couldn't even tell.
I was enjoying every minute of it, every second of it and didn't want to let her go, even for a split moment.
But one warning call from Mr Ortiz and I realised that we were not on our sweet honeymoon to enjoy each others' company for the whole time.
I had only four days left in my hands to win the elections. And for that, I needed to rush to the office if I wish to enjoy our honeymoon later.
I grunted in annoyance, resting my head on Elena's bare chest as she breathed heavily above me. The rapid beating of her heart brought a smile to my face as I hugged her closer.
