For the past two days, I was constantly running around the Sanders' office building, climbing the stairs, riding the elevator to go and meet as many people as I could, talking with them and showing them what a great man my husband was.
And yet, it felt like the whole world resided in this damn building as every time I lifted my head, a new unfamiliar face popped in front of me.
Devon kept telling me that though he was grateful for my efforts, they were not going to bore any sweet fruit. He was confident of his capabilities and Mason's fucked up choices to win the elections.
But I had got to know in these two days that though many didn't particularly favour Mason, they didn't also like Devon.
Many were wary of his uncontrollable anger, his rudeness and arrogance. They thought he was too stubborn for his own good and was too risky in a business.
Though all the risks he had taken so far had turned out to be a success, including the Swindon's factory of course.
