The past four days passed in a blur, but the only thing that kept nagging at me was Devon's silent treatment toward me.
He heard me badmouthing his father that day in the hospital, and he was still adamant about making me apologise to his father.
I was in my office when I received dad's call. A smile instantly adorned my face looking at his caller ID.
"Hello dad!"
"I hope I am not disturbing you in the middle of work." He said from the other side.
"No, that's fine. It will be lunch break soon. What are you doing?" I asked, playing with a pen in my hand.
"I am at the factory site. We decided to take the break as we have a lot of work today. We may stay late in the night. So I thought of giving you call."
"Dad! You are Devon Sanders' father-in-law. Why do you want to go to his factory and work there? You know he doesn't like it."
We had already been there many times, but no matter what Devon said, dad refused to listen to him.
