Devon and I rushed to Frida's home as soon as we received her call that someone had broke into her house in her absence.
Officer Williams' suspicion was natural as Sanders had a direct connection with the murder of the owner of the house.
We watched in silence as the police did their job. They kept asking Frida numerous questions and also inquired about her neighbours. Frida confirmed that not a single thing was missing from the house.
Then what did this person steal? Or if he indeed found what he was looking for or failed?
After a while, Officer Williams asked Frida's neighbours.
"Mr and Mrs Beans, thank you for your ccoperation! But now I need to discuss a few things with the rest. I hope you don't mind and understand that confidentiality is a part of our job."
Mr Beans nodded his head in understanding. "Of course, officer! Please tell us if we can help in any way."
"Sure!"
