Joanna was trying to reach Elena and Devon for an hour now, but both of their phones were unavailable to reach. She couldn't help but worry for them.
Steve watched her carefully while they sat in a diner, waiting for the lovebirds Christine and Jimmy to come over.
"Madam Jo, please calm down. At the rate you are tapping your foot anxiously, you will get a cramp." He concerned.
Joanna tsked in irritation, holding her head in both her hands.
"Then what should I do, Steve? I cannot reach both of them. Elena is acting strangely for the past few days, and I wonder why.
With everything that was happening around me, I couldn't help but worry for them. What if they are in any danger?" Her blue eyes widened more than the size of her glasses.
"Please don't think extreme. They must be fine. I think they must have taken some time for themselves and must be comforting each other somewhere alone."
Joanna was not convinced by that.
"Oh look, Dr York is here."
