The man stood outside the hospital watching the ambulances arrive while hiding behind a vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicles with sirens lined up at the City Hospital entrance, followed by police cars.
The ward boys ran to open the doors while doctors rushed out with emergency equipment. There were very few people outside the hospital at the hour of dawn who stopped by to see what was going on.
The doors of the first ambulance opened, and Jimmy jumped out, barking instructions at his assistants and the nurses. The first stretcher came out with Elena on it.
From the second one, Madison was taken out, and the third one... was calmer with no rush and chaos. Because it wasn't carrying a person with a medical emergency but a dead body.
Officer Williams stood near that third vehicle watching the ward boys taking out the dead body before carrying it inside the hospital with a calm face.
