On a busy afternoon, during the post-lunch frenzy in an office inside a decent-sized three-storey building, a man sat working at his desk.
A number of papers remained scattered around him, along with the lit desktop screen. The sounds of ringing phones, chattering and flipping of pages were complemented by the sounds of a coffee machine in a corner and the clicking of a keyboard with a rush as well as frustration surrounding him.
He couldn't concentrate on his work, bouncing his right leg impatiently underneath his desk. To top it all, his Boss was not helping his situation and kept barking orders at him.
If only he could leave that petty job that paid him less than a waiter in one of those cosy cafes in the city!
But he couldn't do that. Only he knew what strenuous efforts he had to take to get that job, something he was aiming for a long time. He had responsibilities to fulfil, and quitting that job would take his boat straight down the drain.
