"But you know, darling, Gabe is still single," Isabella knew her sister wanted to ask that question.
Mia stared at her sister and smiled. "So you still have a chance, dear," Isabella stated.
"I don't think so," Luke announced. He had been listening but didn't contribute.
"What do you mean?" Isabella questioned.
"He told me yesterday that his secretary was seducing him," Luke said. "She sends messages, wishes him good night and morning, asks about his well being and yesterday, she confessed her feelings to him. He asked for my advice. And I was like if he likes her, there shouldn't be any holdback." Luke shrugged.
But that information killed Mia. Gabe was the main reason she came back to state AD. However, seeing her family now, she thought that she should have actually returned much earlier.
"Yeah, Mr Luke has a point." Her tone expressed her sadness. "It's been a long day, I should take a rest." Standing up, she said.
