By the time Gabriel was done speaking, Jackson was looking at him with sympathy.
"Don't give me that pitiful look, it's not like I'm dying," Gabriel said, looking away.
"I just can't begin to imagine how you would deal with this inconvenience when you get back home?" He breathed, pushing his plate forward because he was done.
Zoe in her haste to escape their company forgot she didn't take her plate to the kitchen. Not that Jackson minded, he would clear the table when they were done.
"I'll seek out help from a therapist, I think my problem is psychological. All these years, my mother is the only one that I have ever loved and I never saw a woman beyond the worth of her body. I think I imprinted on Zoe."
