"Here." Jackson passed the phone over to his boss from across the table and Gabriel eagerly reached for it.
Jackson finally made it out of his room and had a cup of coffee in his hand to wake him from the nightmares of yesterday. No, he shouldn't think of last night, it was a horror. He was not going to forget that scene anytime soon, nor was he going to look at Zoe the same way again.
"Is this it? Tell me, there are no more complications, please." He needed Gabriel to confirm the phone was his.
Gabriel took the phone and went through it, only releasing a sigh of relief when he unlocked the password and the contents of the phone remained intact.
"Good work." He said and Jackson was able to relax. Everything was solved now.
"Forget what you saw yesterday."
Okay, so not everything was solved.
At that question, Jackson put down his cup and said, "Perhaps, next time a warning would be sufficient, boss. I was nearly traumatized."
