"This is it," Jackson gestured to his room and Zoe had to admit she was a bit jealous. Even a mobster's assistants get to live in a room that was more spacious than her whole apartment put together.
At least, even though her place was small, she had a comfortable home to return to, unlike the motel she was now living in. Zoe knew deep down that it was impossible but she wished that this moment would never end - that she could find a warm bed to sleep in every night.
