Gabriel was not new to insomnia, but usually, he was up worrying over his safety and the direction of his life, not about some woman that currently occupied his thoughts. This was the first time a woman bothered him this much. Zoe Clark was dangerous and he couldn't even chase her away even if he wanted to.
"Ugh," Gabriel groaned in frustration, burying his face in the pillow and punching the bed. Of all the mess he had to get into, why did it have to come in the form of Zoe Clark? He doesn't even like her, so why does she haunt him like some damn ghost?!
But then, he couldn't help but remember the way the smile spread across her face when he handed the phone to her. She looked so beautiful and happy….. Gabriel caught himself at the last minute. This was slowly getting out of hand, he had to do something about his obsession with that ladybug.
