He pulled the door open and stepped out to hear the clicking nose of Everly's shoe, who was pacing back and forth in deep worry.
"Sir Avalanzo!" The moment Everly sighted him, she rushed towards him and jumped into his arms, hugging him tightly. "Y-you are alright. You are fine." She sobbed uncontrollably in deep apprehension and tightened her hug.
A half-smile emerged on Valerio's face, and he embraced her, gently caressing her hair.
"I'm fine, Everly. What about you? Are you okay?" He inquired in concern, and Everly furiously nodded her head.
"Y-yes. Thanks to you, I'm fine." She chuckled behind tears and Valerio's smile widened.
"Come, let's go." He broke off the hug and grabbed onto her hand.
Together with Alex, they proceeded downstairs, ready to leave.
