At the table at the very end of the diner, the two men having their lunch are keenly observing Amy without her knowledge.
"She seems to be very friendly. And you seem to have fallen for her deeply, sir," said the driver.
"Do you want to get fired?" His driver is getting fearless lately in expressing his opinions.
The man looked at Amy intensely, watching her every move. He's watching her in the shadows and only God knows how much he wanted to approach her. He has to be patient, he cannot mess this up or everything he has done will be ruined.
Back at Amy's table, she had just finished her meal and started working again on her laptop. She was very enthusiastic in her story since she could feel that Rei would contact her anytime soon.
Two hours had passed when the owner approached her and handed strawberry milkshake.
"Uhmm… I didn't order this," she handed the milkshake back to her thinking that it was a mistake.
"No dear, this is yours. The man at that table ordered it for you before they took off," she pointed to the direction where the two men were previously sitting.
Amy was confused about why someone would order something for her. She was so focused on her work that she didn't notice who was occupying that table earlier.
She started to feel nervous and scared, she unconsciously placed her hand on her now pounding heart. She was thinking of all the terrifying scenarios she could think of.
The owner chuckled at the sight of her.
"Don't worry dear. They look harmless. The man who ordered it looks smitten by you. He's very handsome too. Now that I think of it, he looks familiar," she reassured Amy.
Still, with a pounding heart, Amy didn't relax a bit. She had heard stories of women being abducted and she doesn't want that for herself. Especially now that 2 children are depending on her.
"Come on dear, drink this, don't waste it. I made it myself and I'm sure there's no poison in it," the owner insisted.
Amy gladly took the strawberry milkshake and drank it as fast as she could. She kept on looking out the window to check if there were people watching her. And to her relief there's none.
As soon as she finished the milkshake she hastily went home. Her steps were fast as she headed towards home while being cautious of her surroundings.
She felt relieved when Alice and Robert's home came into view. She walked faster, almost running, wishing to get home in an instant. She locked all doors and windows after she got in.
Others may call her reaction paranoid but she doesn't care. All she can think of is she has to be careful even if their neighborhood is pretty safe.
She let out a heavy sigh when she finally entered her room. She remembered Rei again and of course, what else, Rei still hadn't contacted her.
She didn't dare go out after that day. She will either write at home or visit Jayson. Days quickly passed by and Rei didn't even at least send her a text message.
Five days went by and she was starting to feel impatient and disappointed. No word from Rei and she didn't have the courage to contact him. She hoped that she would at least be informed if her proposal got rejected.

It was Friday morning, and Amy planned to go to Bellory Cafe to check on her shop and help Mary. She wore casual jeans and a shirt since it's usually busy there on a Friday.
The doorbell rang before she got out of the house. To her surprise, it was Rei.
"Miss Bell, I hope you still haven't changed your mind."
Not expecting to see him before calling first, Amy stuttered to reply.
"H-how did y-you find me?"
Rei pushed the bridge of his sunglasses back up trying to look cool and calm. But deep inside he is excited to introduce Amy to his boss formally even though he has seen her already.
Rei is confident that she is the woman her boss is looking for, but more than confidence, he hopes and wishes that she'll be the last one since he is tired of repeating this cycle.
Rei took a picture of Amy after they met in the hospital and sent it to his boss and he immediately took interest in her.
Amy was always drawn into her writing on her laptop whenever she went out, and she didn't notice that a man was always watching her from afar.
"Doesn't matter, you haven't answered my question, I'm in a hurry, are you still up for it?" Rei asked.
She was taken aback by his sudden appearance and question but still tried to compose herself.
"Yes, but I have questions and I need some clarifications."
Rei did not waste any more time upon hearing her answer.
"Good then come with me, let's start this right away."
He then turned his back and walked towards the parked car. Seeing the man's hastiness, Amy could only follow him and get into the black car that she was led to.
She was nervous and excited at the same time. The day she has been waiting for is here.
Amy stayed in the back seat, while Rei sat in the front. Amy looked around, surprised by her own action of getting in the car with a stranger.
"Where are we going?"
Amy is now starting to regret her actions. She always tells her niece and nephew to not talk to strangers but here she is, agreeing to go with a man she barely knows.
Rei sensed her weariness and immediately explained their itinerary.
"We'll make a few stops, first you'll have a medical exam as a pre-requisite for the contract. Then assuming that you'll pass all the tests, we'll go to the salon. After that, you'll accompany my boss to a party."
Amy dropped her jaw at what she just heard.
"T-test? P-party? What do you mean, I haven't signed anything yet, and you haven't discussed anything with me. I haven't agreed to this."
Rei could feel her nervousness and uneasiness so he explained further to ease her mind.
"You need to pass the test first. My employer is very strict when it comes to health, especially if you'll be sharing a lot of activities with him if you know what I mean.
Once you pass then he wants to meet you first before offering the job. He's a very busy man and he will be at a party later.
That's his only free time this week unless it's ok with you to meet him after 2 more weeks. I believe you need the money for your nephew's operation right away, am I correct?"
Amy's nervousness is slowly dissipating after hearing what Rei said, 'Right I need to do this for Jayson…' she said to herself.
"Alright, I'll do the test, what kind of medical exams will I be taking?"
Amy could not see Rei since he was in the front seat, but he gave out a half smile. He could not believe how desperate she was to agree with whatever he was saying; she didn't even know who his boss was.
"The tests that will say you are healthy and will be able to keep up with his stamina. I know you said you're a virgin but my boss still wants to make sure there will be no transmission of unwanted illness between you two.
He hates smokers and he has a very high endurance so you must keep up with him if you want to finish your contract."
Amy gaped her eyes at his explanation, she didn't know if she would feel insulted or angry.
"Your boss is weird, totally freaky!" She exclaimed.
Rei did not respond verbally but he laughed at Amy's words and he thought that she was definitely right.
After that awkward conversation, Amy just kept quiet to get it over with so she could finally meet the man and hear his offer. Besides, she can still back out anyway, she hasn't signed anything and she hasn't met the man.
Who knows, perhaps she will like him or maybe he is not totally weird and just taking precautions.
Amy and Rei stayed in the cafe on the hospital's ground floor while waiting for the result. They just sat there quietly when Amy broke the silence.
"I am curious… Why is the test you gave me, not the usual test that I was expecting, I thought you wanted to make sure that I am not carrying any disease or what-not that would compromise your employer's health."
Smirking, Rei answered her, "My boss only wanted to check if you are sexually healthy and if you can keep up with him. You see he doesn't easily get tired, so expect him to enroll you in some fitness class as soon as you sign the contract."
"You mean to keep up with him not like a weak woman because he is a sporty person?"
Amy responded casually. Rei almost slapped his face with his own hand at what he just heard and chuckled at her innocent remark.
"Let's just say he is a very active man, he can last for hours. And when I say he's active, it doesn't matter where and when, the gods most probably gifted him with a huge pool of energy."
Amy frowned, clueless about what this man was talking about.
When they got the result which was of course all good, Rei then took Amy to a fancy salon that the rich and celebrities usually go to. The manager approached them as soon as they walked in.
"Well, well, well, Mr. Blair, this is a surprise. This is the first time that you took the master's pet here personally."
The manager of the salon bluntly stated as she walked towards Amy while examining her.
Rei then whispered to the manager.
"This one is special, the boss takes a liking to her, treat her well and you'll be graciously rewarded."
The manager's eyes glinted and smiled from ear to ear. She immediately pulled Amy to the VIP room of the salon.
"Stay here, I'll call you when she's ready," she told Rei.
