Ethan could see the dull light in Iris' eyes when Oliver tried to bring up the topic of Alpha Gerald and blamed him for their alpha's misery, to an extent, the warrior tried to vent out his frustration on Iris.
Just like some of the other members, they still saw Iris as a reminder of their gruesome days and were hardly able to stand her presence.
However, Ethan could see how genuinely sincere Iris was and there was only one thing he couldn't comprehend; how could Alpha Gerald father someone like her. It was like a nasty worm gave birth to a beautiful swan. The two creatures belonged to two different worlds.
