It didn't go unnoticed by Cane when Iris blushed, but he couldn't figure out the reason behind it. Often time, she would have a strange respond to something and at that moment, he simply couldn't understand what was in her mind.
"I will wait here," Cane said, as he took a book and sat down on the chair near the door. He didn't really interest with book, because the content could be so different from reality and now Iris was aware of that too, but still it was a habit of her to read something and it gave her joy.
"O- okay." Iris stumbled with her words, as she immediately went to the further row of the bookshelves.
This place was not so big, there were only five rows of bookshelves here and the book collection must not be on par with the one they had in the pack house, but Cane noticed there were a few old books here that the title almost couldn't be read anymore, the kind of book you shouldn't put on sale.
