Sofia saw the commotion outside and knew it was the cue for her to leave. Someone had told her something like this would happen and she needed to prepare herself and the baby.
Rye. Redmond was adamant with that name before he left and Sofia actually loved the name too, but she fussed over it a little bit, didn't want to admit that.
And now the baby was staring at her with curiosity in his eyes, which took after Redmond. Maybe it was only her petty side, but she was a little bit annoyed because the baby took after Redmond so much, as if to declare and shred the last bit of hope for him to be another man's baby.
'I carried you for nine months, but you come out look exactly like your father.'
That was the best Sofia could complain about her baby, but everything else was perfect. He was a bundle of joy for her.
Unless he was hungry and needed to be cleaned, he wouldn't be fussy.
