Just as Damien was about to stand up from the cushion, he paused at the form of address from the man who had opened the door for him.
''Young master?''
''My name is Damien.'' Not liking the strange form of address, Damien introduced himself, stepping down from the carriage. He then stared up at the man with a sweet smile. ''Thank you for bringing me to school.''
After saying that, he blended within the small crowd of children walking to school, or rather, they made a path for him to pass while blatantly gazing at him as if he was someone new to their village school.
Meanwhile, Leo was a bit shocked that the timid child could smile at him so sweetly, especially with innocent red eyes different from the duke's.
'The duchess raised him well.' Leo thought with a small smile and then walked forward to the coachman with an instruction leaving his lips.
