''M-Mother…'' A soft, hesitant voice joined Amelia and Isla's conversation in the bedroom. Damien, in plain white pajamas, fully entered the room and closed the door. He did not move away from the door and nervously fiddled with his fingers. He seemed anxious and Isla was worried as she noticed that when she turned to stare at him in her chair.
''What's wrong, Damien?'' asked Isla. She didn't expect him to be still awake at this late hour. Apart from playing with Gerald and looking around the Grand-duchy since noon, there wasn't much he did during the daytime. Besides, Isla knew that he hadn't slept well during the journey from the village to the south and so she tried to put him to sleep early. But it seemed he couldn't sleep well in a new environment.
''I can't sleep,'' He replied softly.
