Stunned to hear those words, Damien stood still and snapped his gaze in the direction of that mocking voice.
His stunned eyes landed on two boys that were whispering to each other. Damien was sure that the voice must have come from one of them.
One of the boys that had been glancing at Damien from time to time, was surprised to see him staring at them, and quickly nudged the other boy to stop the whispers.
''What?'' The other boy frowned, clearly unhappy that someone dared to stop him from talking. He then turned his head in Damien's direction, seeing his lackey's arms pointing there.
Just like the previous boy, he was surprised to see Damien looking at them. The latter must have heard his voice. The boy thought his voice was quiet enough for no one to hear. When he realized that was caught, he pursed his lips, scared at first because of Damien's status. But then, a smirk appeared on his lips when the latter did nothing and only stared at him.
