Tiamat wasn't surprised that Gritzl came to check on him as the leader of his band of elites; he moved just as silently as any shadow.
"It was more like the opposite," he said thoughtfully.
Normally Tiamat would remain tight lipped about such a personal subject but he was in a mood to chat.
Gritzl frowned, "Perhaps it is folly, I did not realize the extent of your admiration for Fiona. Her background still remains a mystery and who knows what devious schemes she plots in that pea sized brain of hers."
"Are you abandoning me Gritzl?"
It was early hours and the two were starting to yawn. They left the den and walked towards the general vicinity of the bedchambers as they talked.
Their voices low and hushed so they would not disturb the night time rest of others.
