Time passed and Tiamat found it hard to concentrate so he did not hear much of the ceremony.
He felt like his body was burning up from too much awareness of Fiona beside him.
To him it seemed like his senses had gone into overload, everything felt new and intense, he could not think straight.
Just the touch of her hand on his made him feel over sensitive as he held it to recite his vows.
"I, Tiamat Nikolas Thorton, do solemnly swear to take thee, Fiona Elaine Mcalla, to be my lawful wedded wife. To have and to hold…"
Pretty soon it was her turn and he had to wait for an excruciating pause to pass until she started to say the words that entangled them until death parted them.
"I….oh yes….where was I, Fiona Elaine Mcalla, do solemnly swear to take thee, Tiamat Nikolas Thorton, to be my lawful wedded husband…for so long as I'm not transported back to my world."
He nudged her hard.
