Her stiletto heels land softly on the marble floor at the entrance of the building. Everyone who spotted her immediately took a professional stance and resumed work without being told to do so.
Dressed in a white suit, Leila walked to her office with no expression on her face. With her shoulders lifted and with a confident stride, she walked down the corridors but stopped midway through.
She turned around, went by the receptionist's office and headed for other offices in the building. First, the mail team. These people oversaw replying to messages and getting messages. She stood at the window, and as expected, they were working.
Well, most of them. The others that were not working, once they spotted her, rushed for their seats and began working. Leila squinted her eyes at them before walking off.
"Did something happen?" one of them whispered to another beside her
