A light sound resonated throughout the room. Leila stood up, placing the tablet and stylus on the table, then turned around the table Briv lay to another table that now had a freshly made cup of tea on it.
She took off her gloves then grabbed the cup before taking a sip, then turned to him. "So why are you here?" she asked
"You always leave the dining table rushing after breakfast to this place or your room, and you miss lunch and dinner. I thought maybe you always lose track of time, so I came to call you for lunch today"
He moved closer to Briv but he could not see inside and did not bother to raise the chair. "Anytime, I send Beatrice she always has an issue finding you" he added as he turned to her that is now standing beside him
"I have tea" she said, raising her cup "I'll skip lunch" she said and walked away to the table which the clear bowl sat on
"What are you working on?" he asked, trying to strike up a conversation
