A smile slowly appeared on her lips as both the cool ambience and the fact that no one was giving her attention was just top-notch.
But then her joy was short-lived when she heard an annoying voice behind her.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
Leila, without turning around, knew that annoying voice. It held an unknown resentment. Leila did not know if it was because she was taking care of her father or if it was something else.
But she could feel the resentment in her tone every time she spoke.
Leila turned around to meet her brown eyes. If she resented her, then Leila, hated her to her guts. It was irritating staring at that face that looked just like hers.
She must say she was surprised to have seen her here, but that surprise did not linger too long. Mr Marvin gave her an invitation and the lady before her was his daughter, then he would give her an invitation as well.
