Chapter 64 - A Crisis

The Brooke conference room was stocked with employees with baggy eyes and homeless-looking drenched in sweat as they went about surfing through files and typing away on their systems trying to control the damage the news is causing because every second their stock kept falling and the company was losing millions by seconds.

Despite the tense mood in the conference room Dylan still sat unbothered in his seat going through something on his laptop and his expression doesn't look like someone that is losing millions of dollars by the passing minute.

Charles badged into the conference room looking disheveled and unkempt and the employees pity his sorry state because he was the one having it most hard being the assistant to the CEO.

"Boss the investors keep calling and they are demanding an explanation about the new Mall project," Charles reported, waiting for his boss's outburst but it looks like it wasn't forthcoming.
