Cassandra looked at her son and daughter-in-law in turn, worried and uneasy, but said nothing but smiled gently. They obviously needed time to get used to each other again after months apart.
"By the way, how was your trip here?" Jayde asked casually as he dropped his body next to Ivy.
The small movement Ivy made as Jayde sat next to her was noticed by Jayde. He was a bit sad and disappointed that Ivy was so distant from him. Ivy even tensed up like a telephone wire during the day and hastily made a safe distance away from him.
"Everything is smooth. I'm sorry that your pilot and your driver had to wait longer. I have a meeting to attend an hour before I go to the airport."
"They don't matter. Luckily today the weather is nice. You didn't have any turbulence or anything like that up there, did you?"
"No. I got satisfactory first-class service."
