I woke up because I heard the sound of someone who was yelling at someone. I couldn't be wrong because even though that person had tried to keep his voice down, the sound of his snap still sounded clear to my ears.
"I told you that I can't go back now."
"..."
"Yes. I just got married. I need time."
"..."
"I thought so."
After listening to the voices for a long time, I remembered that I was only with Jayde in this room. So the voices I just heard must have been Jayde's and I wasn't hallucinating.
"Don't call me again for any nonsense. Don't bother me."
"Jayde?"
My voice is hoarse, typical of someone who just woke up. Jayde emerged from the bathroom, slightly surprised to see me sitting up on the bed and tying my hair up high.
"Who are you talking to?"
"Since when did you wake up? Did you sleep well?"
