My eyes widened to see what lay at the bottom of the box. I had expected there would be such present. But I didn't expect that I would find it in the second gift I just opened.
"What did you get?"
"It is nothing. Just some apron for cooking. It looks like Ms. Agnes wants me to be a good wife."
I quickly closed the gift box from Ms. Agnes and started taking the other present. I still have a lot of presents that I cram into my suitcase. So it's going to be a long job.
"A gift from Danise!"
"What's in it?"
"Wow, he gave us this!"
I pointed two black and white marble glasses at Jayde. The glasses are so cute. There's even a Mr & Mrs engraving in gold ink on the surface.
"Nice present. Open another one."
What's wrong with him? Why was he not at all enthusiastic. At least he could pretend to be enthusiastic in front of me and show his joy at the gifts people sent us.
"This is from my secretary."
