Lennox sat next to his wife in the backseat of the car as they drove out of town, spending three hours on the road. He finally agreed to meet the person Adrienne had mentioned he should meet, and they were on their way to meet them. That person may shed light on his father's difficulties before his passing.
Lennox was skeptical about this meeting, unsure of what to expect. He couldn't help but wonder why Adrienne insisted on meeting this person. However, he trusted his wife's judgment and kept an open mind as they approached their destination.
Adrienne glanced at her husband and held his hand. Ever since he returned from meeting with his grandparents, she noticed the sudden change in his face. His usually bright eyes now hinted at sadness, and his smile seemed forced.
Worried, Adrienne gently asked, "Is everything alright, Len?"
Lennox turned his head and forced a smile before kissing her temple.
