Lennox worked late in his office until well after midnight. His to-do items were like procreating bunnies; no matter how fast he went through them, more seemed to appear. His office door suddenly opened, and Gavin stuck his head in.
"Ah, so you're still here. Wanna split some takeout dinner with me?"
Lennox had already anticipated his best friend's late visit, as they usually meet like this to discuss the situation in Huayi and for Gavin to hear his opinions on some matter. He was about to say no to Gavin's offer when he caught a whiff of delicious fried chicken, and his stomach rumbled.
"Sure. Take a seat while I finish up these reports," Lennox replied, gesturing towards the pile of papers on his desk.
Gavin plopped down on the chair, his eyes scanning the room filled with scattered documents and half-empty coffee cups.
