"Addie should have waited for my call. She shouldn't have agreed to come to Alistair Han on her own." Hunter said as his grip on the steering wheel tightened at the thought of the danger his sister faced.
"I couldn't change her mind," Lennox replied as he sat impatiently next to the driver's seat. "She was shaken upon seeing how distressed Myrtle was yesterday."
"Don't do anything stupid later, Lennox. I cannot assure your safety. Allow the police to apprehend Alistair Han. It's already bad enough we're bringing you with us, but I know Addie needs you." Hunter reminded him as they continued to drive through the winding streets of the city, the night sky looming above them like a shroud.
