It didn't take long before Alfred Jiang and Waylen Jiang's family followed. Ayla and Sierra immediately joined their friends.
Some who were expecting to see Adrienne Jiang were disappointed when she didn't show up.
"Where's your cousin, Ayla? Is Adrienne not invited to your grandfather's banquet?" One of her friends asked maliciously.
"Don't say that, I'm sure Addie will show up. She must have experienced some mishaps before coming here."
Ayla's friend sighed. "Why do you always have an excuse for her, Ayla? She's the only one from the Jiang family who isn't here."
