Chen Xi was speaking to Lin Mufan in the study. Although he had retired, Lin Mufan had such a broad perspective on business and life.
They spoke for a while but even after a long while, Lin Ye still did not show up.
Chen Xi instantly became worried. He kept looking at his watch and the door at the same time.
Lin Mufan laughed at this, "She is just gone for afew minutes and you are already this anxious?"
Chen Xi could not help but say, "I already have a taste of her leaving once and never coming back, I don't think I will be able to take it a second time."
This were his thoughts but he realized that he had said them quite loud. Lin Mufan chuckled and said nothing more. He could not help but feel that Lin Ye's husband was quite interesting. He took a mental note to ask Lin Ye to bring Chen Xi over in the future.
