Jin Jiuchi opened his eyes in a daze, his mind still groggy with sleep.
The fragmented images from his dream slipped away like sand through his fingers. He seemed to have dreamed of Shen Nianzu, but he could no longer remember what it was about. All that was left was the sweetness on the tip of his tongue and the throbbing heat on his lower body.
