The players let out startled screams as they scrambled to get as far away as possible from the crimson beam that had crashed into their midst, as well as the unlucky player who had accidentally been struck.
The man halted on his tracks, his expression utterly blank for his mind had not caught up with the current situation yet. Then he looked down on himself, catching the eerie scarlet glow that engulfed his entire body, and his face abruptly twisted into one of pure horror.
"H–Help…" he tried to reach out to the player nearest to him in a desperate plea for salvation, only for the said player to recoil in fear.
"No! Don't… don't come near! Go away, you monster!"
"M–Monster…?"
