"Should we tell her about it first, you saw how emotional she was earlier, I don't want her to feel like we have betrayed her trust somehow." The old master countered in a concerned tone.
"Let me give her a call and ask." His wife answered and took her phone out of her bag.
Five rings later, Chi Lian picked up and answered, "Grandmother, I was just about to call you. Is grandfather okay?"
While she knew perfectly well that the old master was doing okay, she needed to act like just like everybody else, clueless and concerned.
